SOUTH GULL lake fly-in outpost

VISIT SOUTH GULL LAKE

We are proud to own the only outposts on North and South Gull Lakes, acquired in the fall of 2019. These lakes are part of the renowned Cat River System, which also includes Kapikik Lake and Fawcett Lake—two of our most popular outposts. Known for world-class Walleye and Northern Pike fishing, the Cat River System is a dream destination for anglers seeking both trophy-sized fish and impressive numbers. Gull Lake’s expansive size makes it perfect for larger groups or adventurous anglers eager to explore.

The South Cabin is situated on a scenic pine-covered point, boasting a stunning half-mile sand beach. Nestled on a wooded sand esker, this location offers the rare opportunity to walk the entire bay to the east during normal water levels. The cabin itself is a spacious, manufactured log structure. It features two large bedrooms at the back, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests, and a generous open-concept dining and sitting area at the front, complete with a cozy wood stove for heating.

Pricing: Rates are per person (USD) + 13% HST.

  • Deposit: $300 per person, non-refundable.

  • Catch and Release: Conservation limits apply—enjoy your catch on-site only to protect the lake’s fishing quality.

Before your departure, please review our packing guidelines, which are strictly enforced, and check our Directions page for tips on where to stay the night before your flight from Northern Lights Resort.
