MCVICAR lake fly-in outpost
VISIT MCVICAR LAKE
If you’re searching for true wilderness seclusion, look no further than McVicar Lake. Located 124 air miles northeast of our base, McVicar Lake spans 8 miles long and 5 miles wide, with plenty of bays, islands, and depths reaching up to 160 feet. Two rivers flow into the lake, with one flowing out, ensuring abundant moving water perfect for fishing.
The lake also offers access to two other nearby lakes, including Lang Lake, which is 12 miles long and 70 feet deep. Here, you can fish for prized Walleye and Northern Pike in a pristine, peaceful environment.
The McVicar Lake Outpost cabin is the only one on the lake, ensuring total privacy. Nestled in a beautiful, secluded bay, the cabin is a true "luxury in the wilderness." It features three comfortable bedrooms, a wood stove for cozy nights, a brand-new deck with stunning lake views, and new wooden walkways. The grounds have also been recently cleared of brush, giving you even more space to enjoy the outdoors.
Pricing: Rates are per person (USD) + 13% HST.
Deposit: $300 per person, non-refundable.
Catch and Release: Conservation limits apply—enjoy your catch on-site only to protect the lake’s fishing quality.
