NORTH GULL lake fly-in outpost

VISIT NORTH GULL LAKE

We are proud to offer the only outposts on North and South Gull Lakes—purchased in the fall of 2019—located within the renowned Cat River System. This system includes Kapikik Lake and Fawcett Lake, two of our most popular outposts, and is known for some of the best Walleye and Northern Pike fishing the North has to offer. Whether you're after trophy fish or high numbers, the Cat River System delivers on both.

Gull Lake is the perfect destination for larger groups or more adventurous anglers. With its vast size, this lake offers plenty of space to explore and fish, making it an ideal spot for those seeking both a challenge and an unforgettable fishing experience.

The North cabin is made up of three buildings connected by covered decks, with a boardwalk leading down to the dock. A fourth building by the lake is dedicated to storage and fish cleaning. The main cabin includes a full kitchen, bathroom, and an open sitting and dining area, while the other two cabins are used for sleeping and can accommodate up to 10 guests in total.

Located at the mouth of Birch River, the cabin’s location offers the best of both worlds. Each day, you’ll face a tough decision: head left for up to 10 miles of river exploration, complete with protected waters, rapids, and current areas, or turn right and start exploring the hundreds of miles of shoreline, islands, and reefs waiting to be discovered.

  • Pricing: Rates are per person (USD) + 13% HST.

  • Deposit: $300 per person, non-refundable.

  • Catch and Release: Conservation limits apply—enjoy your catch on-site only to protect the lake’s fishing quality.

Before your departure, please review our packing guidelines, which are strictly enforced, and check our Directions page for tips on where to stay the night before your flight from Northern Lights Resort.
