I seriously can not say enough good things about Clarks and the operation you all run.  It is very impressive!  And, that was the best fishing I have ever been a part of.  It didn't matter time of day, sunny, cloudy...it was all the fish a person could catch in a day!  Truly an unbelieveable trip! I just wanted to thank you for a very well run business you have. Your genuine interest in making sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay was very much appreciated. Your entire team was so friendly and made our trip one that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I caught largest fish... an enormous 42" Pike right off the dock at Bertrand! Our small group of eight caught over 1,500 walleye. Your great attention to detail and how you remodeled the cabin, added a sauna and fish cleaning house, checking on us almost every other day, bringing us free water and minnows, etc is something that's only promised in brochures but rarely executed upon. "Another great year. Water temp rose 14 degrees from 53 to 67 during the week. We were catching big northerns early in the week on small Husky Jerks. I said to my son, " I wonder what the water temperature will be when we get a walleye?" Our first walleye hit at 62 degrees and we caught our last decent size northern at 64 degrees. We witnessed the transition from northerns being post spawn shallow to them moving deeper and the walleyes moving in as the water warmed. What a difference from the time we got there to the time we left in terms of fishing conditions. My son Michael caught the biggest northern I had ever seen. I saw a picture of a 48" in the lodge and this fish would of ate it for breakfast. We did not measure it, as getting the fish back in the water safely took precedence. The only question is how much over 50" was it?"

"In Antenna lake we fish mainly for Northern's as there are some true giant's in there. My best so far has been one that went 49.5" and 34.5 pounds two years ago the first week of June. We have fished there in June, July and August with the same results each time. We have been fishing Antenna lake for the last 8 years. I have personally seen many pike in excess of 50" while fishing them in there. You could sink a boat with small fish in the 24" to 30" when they are really on the bite. We caught a 24" walleye right off the dock. In fact if the big Northern is not living under the dock you can catch all the eyes you want right there."
