OVERVIEW
Northern Lights Resort is located on Cedar Lake. The camp is about 25 miles from Vermilion Bay, down Highway 105. The cabins are modern and all have air-conditioning. There are 5 deluxe cabins on the waterfront that include satellite TV and a dishwasher as well and huge decks over-looking the lake with gas BBQ's. The standard cabins are nice as well with decks and beautiful views of the lake. Guests have access to an air-conditioned lodge with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The camp also features a playground on the beach for the kids. The fish-cleaning house is right on the water and is a nice, clean facility for our guests to use. You can also find your live minnows and ice here - free of charge!
The Cabins
There are 7 cabins to choose from at Northern Lights Resort. 2 cabins are “standard” and 5 are “deluxe”. Our cabins are spacious, completely modern, and come fully equipped for light housekeeping. The cabins have complete kitchens, 3-piece bathrooms, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, air conditioners, and gas grills on the decks.
let's talk Fishing
Northern Lights Resort is located on Cedar Lake, which is known for its fantastic Walleye, Northern, Muskie, Jumbo Perch, Whitefish, Small Mouth Bass, and Crappie. The lake is 23 miles long, shaped in a horseshoe. This spectacular body of water has no shortage of weed beds, reefs, rock cliffs, and drop-offs where you’ll find an abundance of fish!
RENT one of our boats
Our fleet of safe & reliable boats and motors consists of new (or near-new) 17-foot Lund Outfitters powered by an electric start 50 HP Yamaha motor. The boats have pedestal seats, trolling motors, fish finders, and live wells. It doesn’t get much better than that! When you rent one of our boats, your package includes the gas as well!
HUNTING
We have a very large hunting area where you can enjoy the excitement of a big game hunt for Moose, Black Bear, and Whitetail Deer. Rifle, muzzle loader, and bow hunters are all welcome. Baited stands are available. We also offer small game hunts for Grouse and Duck. Please inquire with us for details on our hunting packages and rates.
